The WannaCry ransomware attack was a worldwide cyberattack targeting computers running Microsoft’s Windows operating system. It encrypted system data and then demanded payment from the victims to decrypt it.Moneris was not exposed to the WannaCry ransomware worm at any time, and no systems were infected within the Moneris network.
