Dear Merchant, In an effort to improve our systems and services, Moneris Solutions Corporation (“Moneris”) will be conducting an infrastructure update that will change external facing Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. These changes will go into effect starting Monday, October 9, 2017 with the Moneris Gateway QA. This will impact any merchant or partner that uses static IP addresses to connect to the Moneris Gateway.
If updates to Moneris Gateway QA and Production addresses are not made by the dates below, you will not be able to process cardholder transactions. For more information, please check our blog here
Who does this affect?
This update applies to all Moneris Gateway Production and Quality Assurance (QA) IPs used by merchants and partners. If firewall rules are in place or IPs are whitelisted, you must update these rules and lists with the new IP addresses.
Merchants and partners using a standard Domain Name Service (DNS) host address (e.g. www3.moneris.com) and do not use firewall rules or whitelisting of IPs will not be impacted.
What you need to do:
You are required to update your IP address whitelists or firewall rules to allow connections to the following IP address(s):
Moneris Gateway CA Production
Moneris Gateway CA QA
Moneris Gateway US Production
Moneris Gateway US QA
**Please ensure both old and new IPs are added to all firewall rules and whitelists. **
Contact your network team or hosting provider to ensure you are able to connect to the new IP addresses to prevent any disruption to your business. If you do not require the use of static IP addresses, Moneris strongly recommends that merchants and partners use the dynamic DNS host address to reduce the possibility of business disruption.
Merchants and partners attempting to connect to Moneris Gateway payment production and QA servers using the older IP Addresses will receive connection errors and not be able to process cardholder transactions effective the following dates:
