3D Secure Hosted Page

My company has an activated store that processes transactions in a regular way. However, they want to implement 3D secure purchases using Moneris' hosted pay page.

Is it possible to turn on/convert the existing store to facilitate 3D purchases while retaining the cards that would've been previously added?

According to the Hosted pay page documentation for the request fields there is eci.

hidden

If using the Hosted Pay Page to integrate an internal order management system for Mail/Telephone Orders, send an eci value of 1.

If the Hosted Pay Page supports VbV/MCSC, the eci generated by VbV/MCSC will override the value passed in.

It says "If the Hosted Pay Page supports VbV/MCSC". How do you add support to VbV/MSSC to a hosted pay page.

To enable 3D secure to your Hosted Paypage, please call your sales agent so they can enable for you. Please note that no development is required from your end for HPP solution.

Can you explain how this works? If the user is not authenticated by VbV or MCSC does Moneris still process the credit card transaction or is it rejected?

it will be processed as an ECI =7 as a regular transaction
