Using moneris API, how to best handle POBox addresses for Address Verification (AVS)

When using API, what is the best way to submit POBox addresses?

Specifically so Mastercard doesn't reject them; Visa has been much more permissive.

 

Exactly what should be inputted into  avs_street_number  and  avs_street_name   fields ?

    Canadian issuers will not deliver a credit card statement to a PO box. It is possible to change to a PO box after the fact I believe. The details should be entered in the street number section if that is the case. We simply pass along the info to the issuer, they are the ones that will choose if they return a match or not. The Postal Code would remain in the postal code section of the request.
