I have just noticed that the field type for the credit card is set as "tel". This means that the credit card number is visible while being added.
This does not seem to be going along with current best practices. Sensitive information such as password, credit cards and even answers to security questions are usually hidden while being entered by the end users. This protects the credit card numbers from eventual prying eyes.
Could you please comment on why it was decided to use that field type ? and if there is a way to customize it ?
Any references that would back up this design choice would be most appreciated.
