When using moneris payment, it give message response "Global Error Receipt"

Enter credit card number and expiry date i got an error message  "Global error receipt". How to solve it?? what is the reason of the error?

  • How are you running the transaction? Using the API (Java?PHP?)?

    This could be caused by several things, some general pointers are:

    - Ensure the API token is copy-pasted correctly, with no leading or trailing spaces. Some letters/numbers look very similar in long tokens.
    - Ensure you're connecting to the correct environment that matches your store: test/production and Canadian/US
    - Try connecting from several networks to ensure the problem is not with company proxy settings, etc
